Let Kids Define Their Style This Back-to-School Season at Goodwill®
Kids these days are socially and environmentally conscious young people eager to serve their communities. As you prepare your children to head back to...
On Tuesday, October 2nd, Goodwill had the honour and pleasure of hosting Associate Minister of Services for Persons with Disabilities, the Honourable Frank Oberle. Minister Oberle had a chance to tour through our operations at our Southside Edmonton location, starting at the donation centre door, through processing, EBooks, retail and finishing off the tour in CEPS.  Also at the tour was MLA, and former Goodwill Board Member, Matt Jeneroux, and CEO of PDD Edmonton, Sean McDermott.
The Minister had a first-hand look at what exactly we do at Goodwill, and how our mission affects everything we do. The Minister also had a chance to try out the new technology that CEPS recently received as part of a government grant. The tour went extremely well, and the Minister asked several questions during his visit.  At the end of the tour we thanked Minister Oberle with a gift basket of cleaning products which included rags cut from re-purposed terry cloth and cotton at our Contract Services operation, and a basket re-purposed for a generous community donation.
