Goodwill's Inclusion Accelerator Program helps employers with supports to hire those with disabilities.

Support for employers includes in the hiring, retention, onboarding and coaching of people with disabilities with an end goal of independence.

Supporting Employers

It all begins with an initial assessment to determine your goals with regard to hiring individuals with disabilities.

Your Employer Coach will work with you to develop a customized plan including:
• Job posting
• Advertising
• Interviews
• Selection
• Onboarding
• Orientation
• Ongoing Coaching

All of this is provided at no cost to employers!

How it Works

This is for employers who would like to hire people with disabilities and are not sure how to get started.

The process starts with an initial meeting between our team and the organization, where we learn about the employer, their goals, and current hiring and employment practices. This allows us to identify any gaps in their knowledge or policies and processes so that we can create a custom plan to help them meet their goals

The program aims to achieve two main outcomes - increase awareness and capacity so that employers are equipped to hire Albertans with disabilities on an ongoing basis, and work with employers to hire, onboard and retain employees with disabilities.
