Goodwill to host first-ever LIVE Virtual Fashion Show!

Calgary, AB (July 28,2020) – It’s your style, with your finds. Your home has become your runway and its even Dr. Hinshaw approved! In the spirit of innovation during the COVID-19 pandemic, Goodwill Industries of Alberta has a unique and fun way to stay connected and celebrate thrifted fashion with their first ever virtual fashion show.

On Thursday, August 6^th, 2020 at 7 pm, the virtual catwalk will come alive using the ZOOM platform, allowing you to watch from the comfort of your favourite couch or chair – LIVE. The show will feature 15 of Alberta’s top thrifting experts showcasing personalized and styled looks. Every item included in the show is found at a Goodwill store, where 89 cents of every dollar goes back into supporting Goodwill’s mission to help Albertans with disabilities to find and gain meaningful employment.

Entry into the virtual fashion show is simple. Viewers are sent a zoom link and will tune in once the show gets underway. After each influencer’s turn on the catwalk, A question and answer period will follow where viewers can ask any of the influencer’s details about their outfits or tips on thrifting in general.
