Every year, Career Connections serves hundreds of Albertans with disabilities or other barriers on their path to meaningful employment. In addition, we are champions in the community for creating more inclusive workplaces, supporting hundreds of employers every year through the process of hiring and employing Albertans with disabilities.

Path to Employment

The Career Connections program supports people with disabilities in locating and maintaining employment or volunteer opportunities. Individuals are assisted with identifying their employment goals, employment preparation, job search, and employment coaching.

Through an individualized Person-Centred plan, The Path to Employment program puts a focus on skill building, customizing work opportunities and job coaching. This helps support the needs of each individual.

Employer Inclusion Accelerator Program

A program that provides support and coaching to employers who would like to hire people with disabilities and are not sure how to get started and how to ensure success.

Your Employer Coach will work with you to develop a customized plan including:

Goodwill is pleased to announce that we were once again declared a CARF accredited program through 2025. This signifies that Career Connections has met all of the requirements laid out by the Commission on Accreditation of Rehabilitation Facilities for quality standards that enhance the lives of people served.

The Volunteer Hub

This Volunteer Hub is based out of Goodwill’s Career Connections training facility on Whyte Ave. in Edmonton. Here, individuals with disabilities assemble and create different ‘kits’ to help spread the GOOD vibes throughout our region.
